This painless medical test is the next step in determining the viability of your pregnancy. Regardless of which pregnancy option you choose, ultrasound is an invaluable tool, and just like our other services it is offered free of charge.

 

Reasons to have an ultrasound before you decide are:

• To verify intrauterine pregnancy

• To rule out ectopic pregnancy

• To rule out miscarriage

• To estimate fetal age

• To determine fetal heart rate

• To aid you in making an informed choice

Confirming your pregnancy in our office and completing a health history are required prior to obtaining an ultrasound appointment. Same day ultrasound appointments are usually not available. The ultrasounds offered by our center are for purposes of informed consent only and will not determine gender or fetal abnormalities.

Your ultrasound will be performed by a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. A report will be provided by a licensed OBGYN. However, prenatal appointments are not offered by our center.
